Bereits vor dem deutschen Kinostart am 20.08. erscheint mit „Southpaw (Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture)“ am 24. Juli der offizielle Soundtrack zum epischen Boxer-Drama mit Jake Gyllenhaal. Das bei Shady/Interscope Records erscheinende Compilation-Album vereint, wie im Titel angedeutet, größtenteils exklusives und vom Boxer-Epos inspiriertes Material.
